Mexico Missions 2026: Our First Fund the Kingdom Mission Trip

August 6–11, 2026

This year marked a very special milestone for Fund The Kingdom our very first Mexico Missions trip.

From August 6th–11th, FTK, The Bridge Central Coast, and our partners at Gracia Del Calvario in Vista del Valle, Mexico, came together with one purpose: to serve Jesus Christ and love His people.

And throughout the entire trip, we saw the Lord moving.

We believe Jesus was already at work before we arrived. We simply had the privilege of being obedient and joining Him in what He was already doing.

Seeing the Fruit of the Spirit

One of the most humbling parts of this trip was experiencing the people of Mexico.

The families and children at Gracia Del Calvario welcomed us with so much love, joy, kindness, humility, and generosity. Even in circumstances that may have looked very different from what we are accustomed to, we witnessed something beautiful people who were rich in the things that truly matter.

We saw the fruit of the Spirit in action.

It challenged us. It encouraged us. And honestly, it motivated us to become better Christians.

Through the people we met, we felt like we were seeing Jesus through another lens, through the lens of Mexico, through the lens of these families, and through the beautiful way they loved one another.

Serving the Children at Fuentes

One of the highlights of the trip was serving at Fuentes, a feeding and education program for children.

Our team had the opportunity to help refurbish the playground, giving the children a safer and more beautiful place to play.

We also spent time simply being with the kids, playing, laughing, fellowshipping.

Seeing their excitement and joy was a reminder that sometimes the simplest acts of love can make a lasting impact.

And once again, we were reminded:

Our Lord Jesus Christ is our provider. Thank You, Jesus!

The Lord also provided backpacks and shoes for the children, and we never want to overlook moments like these. Every provision was a reminder that God sees His children and that He is faithful.

Sharing the Gospel

Our mission was never simply about providing physical needs.

Our greatest desire was to point people to Jesus Christ.

We had the opportunity to share the Gospel through a skit, and it was an incredible experience watching the message of Jesus come alive in a way the children could understand and enjoy.

We played together, laughed together, worshiped together, and shared the hope we have in Christ.

Men’s Ministry

The Lord also moved powerfully during the men’s ministry.

Men had the opportunity to come together, fellowship, and share their testimonies, sharing the ways God has worked in their lives and encouraging one another in their walk with Christ.

There was something powerful about men simply being willing to open up, listen, encourage, and point one another back to Jesus.

The Lord was moving.

Youth Night

Youth Night was another beautiful part of the trip.

We had the opportunity to spend time with the young people, build relationships, laugh, fellowship, and learn together through God’s Word.

One of the Scriptures that spoke deeply to us was:

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.”
— Isaiah 43:1

What a powerful reminder for every young person, and for all of us.

We belong to Him.

We don’t have to live in fear because Jesus has redeemed us. He knows us by name, and we are His.

Thank You Jesus

As we look back on our first Mexico Missions trip, our hearts are filled with gratitude.

We are thankful for every child, every family, every pastor, every volunteer, every ministry partner, and every person who welcomed us and allowed us to serve alongside them.

But most of all, we are thankful to Jesus Christ.

He provided.

He opened doors.

He brought people together.

He gave us opportunities to serve.

He allowed us to witness His love.

And He reminded us that the mission is not about us, it is about Him.

We came to serve, but we left feeling like we were the ones who had received so much.

Mexico humbled us.

Mexico encouraged us.

Mexico reminded us of the beauty of God’s people.

And Mexico reminded us that Jesus is always good.

We are already looking forward to going back.

Until then, we will continue to Fund The Kingdom, serve His people, share the Gospel, and follow wherever Jesus leads.

Thank You Jesus. All glory belongs to You.
